Gather Materials: A measuring tape, ruler, and pen and paper for notes.

Positioning: Stand or sit comfortably with your arm extended straight out in front of you, palm facing up.

Locate the Measurement Points: Measure from the elbow joint (the crease) to the wrist joint (the base of the palm).

Measure: Use the measuring tape or ruler to measure the distance from the elbow to the wrist.

Record the Measurement: Note the length in inches.
