Living with essential tremors has been a dramatic journey marked by daily battles against my own body. From the moment I wake up, my hands tremble uncontrollably, making even the simplest tasks like buttoning a shirt or holding a cup of coffee a daunting challenge. These tremors are a constant reminder of my condition, often drawing unwanted attention and sometimes even pity from others.

Navigating social situations can be particularly difficult. I’ve faced moments of embarrassment and frustration when my tremors make it hard to perform tasks in front of others (Thanksgiving) It’s a constant struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy while feeling acutely aware of my limitations.

Yet, amidst these struggles, I’ve found moments of strength and resilience. I’ve learned to adapt my daily routines and find creative solutions to accomplish tasks that others take for granted.. After countless visits to doctors and trying various prescribed medications, none of which

alleviated my tremors and even caused additional health issues, I refused to give up. I tirelessly brainstormed solutions until I invented the Tremor Tether—a wearable device that significantly reduces tremors. This invention has been life-changing; I can now write, eat soup, and perform daily tasks with greater ease and confidence. Now, my mission is to share this innovation with others who suffer from Essential Tremors, offering them newfound hope and independence.

Living with essential tremors has shaped me in profound ways, teaching me patience, perseverance, and the importance of self-acceptance. It’s a dramatic journey of triumphs and setbacks, where each day presents new challenges to overcome and new opportunities for growth
